History and Experience
At the firm, Farheena’s practice is divided between the criminal defense and civil litigation practice, representing clients in courts across Northern Virginia. She focuses her practice on both misdemeanor and felony criminal defense cases as well as business litigation, contract disputes, and financial disputes.
Farheena received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. She received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School. While attending law school, Farheena worked as a student attorney at the school’s Domestic Violence Clinic via Legal Aid of Washington D.C.
Farheena continued to develop her litigation skills through a range of internships in areas including healthcare, civil, and criminal litigation. Before joining our practice as an attorney, Farheena worked as an intern and a certified student attorney practicing cases ranging from traffic to misdemeanor offenses in Alexandria, Virginia.
Currently, on the civil side, she actively litigates as both plaintiff’s counsel and defendant’s counsel in contentious contract and financial disputes ranging from Landlord/Tenant issues, contract disputes, and representation of small business owners for financial and criminal liabilities.
On the criminal side, she represents clients in matters ranging from murder, sexual assault, and violent weapons offenses. She has successfully litigated both felony and misdemeanor charges in various counties and cities across Northern Virginia such as Alexandria, Fairfax, Arlington, Prince William, and Spotsylvania. Farheena has also successfully litigated assault cases and driving offenses in the Eastern District of Virginia (EDVA).
Farheena is active in the community as a member of the Rotary Club of Alexandria and the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce among other organizations.
